We developed an innovative exercise and lifestyle modification program tailored to individuals with diabetes. This program addressed participants' unique challenges and provided them with practical, personalized support. To ensure safety, we also created an exercise policy booklet with detailed procedures, including a comprehensive head injury protocol. These measures guarantee that all exercises are safe, effective, and aligned with the highest standards.

Recognizing the profound benefits of mindfulness for mental well-being, we implemented a mindfulness program. This program was thoughtfully designed, incorporating cultural elements that resonate with racialized groups to connect more deeply with the practice and providing a space where everyone can appreciate, engage, and benefit from the training, enhancing their mental wellness in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

We understand the impact of musculoskeletal pain and other health conditions on daily life, so we developed a series of simple, home-based therapeutic exercise prescriptions to address this. These are specially designed to help individuals manage and alleviate their pain and improve their overall health from the comfort of their homes.

Walking is a simple, enjoyable activity that requires nothing more than a good pair of shoes. Inspired by this simplicity, we initiated several neighbourhood walking groups in the Greater Toronto Area. This initiative was also introduced to encourage women to incorporate more movement into their daily lives, making physical activity accessible, enjoyable, and a natural part of everyday life for women in diverse communities, and to encourage them to embrace an active lifestyle as a routine.
